The Process (Please read before contacting us)

Our cakes, filling and frosting are made from scratch only when you order to ensure freshness. We do not freeze any cakes and we do not use shortening in any of our products, which also means that our cake needs to be chilled but will be perfectly fine for a few hours at your event.

We require at least four weeks advance notice for small cakes and for wedding or large event cakes, please try to book with us at a much earlier time. We recommend 4-8 months in advance. Please understand that we can only take a limited custom cakes per weekend, we want to give each of our client undivided attention to their cake and create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

50 percent non-refundable deposit is required to secure the date and the rest is due two weeks before the event date. Payment is not acceptable the day of delivery, remaining balance is due in full or we have the right to cancel the delivery. Please be advised that we will cancel your order at anytime if deposit is not secured, please understand that we have to be fair to other customers who would like to book with us on the same day, we have no obligation to wait for you, it is first come first serve. If you decide to cancel your order, please cancel a week before your due date to get 50 percent of your balance back.

Final changes need to be made before the full amount is due. Please also understand that we might make last minute changes to your cake if we feel that it would look better for your event, please trust that we will do our very best to create the most special and unique cake for your event.

Our traditional fondant cakes start at $10.00 per serving with a minimum of $240 (8″ round cake). Tiered cakes, topsy turvy and other shaped cakes have additional charges. Sculpted cakes (ie: bags, cars, sofa, wine, hat, etc…) start at $500, many have flat prices regardless of serving sizes due to the intricate detailed work involved. Edible figurines, shoes, and similar edible items are an additional cost on top of the cakes. We priced our cakes by the labour we put in. Every event is special so whether it’s a celebration cake or a wedding cake, they are priced the same way.

Set-up is included in the delivery for cakes. If you choose to pick-up your cake, please make sure everything is secure before you leave because we are not responsible for the cake if anything happens to it after it leaves the store.

We have cake stands and cupcake towers for rental, please inquire about your options.

$50 is required to set the appointment for two. This includes an hour of consultation and a cake tasting of 5 cupcake flavours. We only take a limited consultations a week so we have the right to cancel your consultation if you didn’t leave a deposit, this is only fair to those who are serious about booking with us.

If you cancel 24 hours in advance, the consultation fee will be returned. If you decided to book with us, $50 will go towards your order, it is non-refundable if you decided not to book with us and it cannot be used for other purchases.

Please understand that every minute is valuable to us and we don’t like to waste anyone’s time, so please book a consultation only if you’re serious about booking with us, if budget is a concern, please e-mail us so we can let you know if we’re able to be a part of your event. If you’re unsure or have concerns, the best thing to do is e-mail us and we will get back to you at our earliest convenience.

After the consultation, you may or may not get a cake sketch, the cake sketch will be send to you via e-mail within two weeks of your consultation date. Sketches are not available to those that inquired about our cakes and cupcakes. It is only available to those that secured a date with us.
